about these paintings?
Your choices –
- Too gaudy and amaturish
- What were you thinking? (ahem, drinking..:))
- Okay, decent attempt
- Very very good, wow, you are Picasso in making(for my ego, girls, for my ego :))

Your the only one who passed the multiple choice exam. No one else choose the options 🙂 Guess I need to add a 5th one, “None of the above” 🙂 Thanks Shurti, I really cannot paint as well as you do. I can do random stuff like this, but serious stuff I need a lot of guidance.

Thanks Titaxy. I like the blue in the second one, and the crisscross design.

I really like the first one… the second one is good but will go well with a retro kitschy theme…
..both look so professional…Kudos!

Appa! Thank you madam 🙂 I guess pictures do lie 🙂 If you see them in person, they look pretty amaturish.

I love love the manga design. It is really good. I like the colors too but I would have preferred a toned down green or more olive green than the bright green background in it. But then that is my taste.
I love the flowers in the second one but not digging the checked background.
Good job and keep painting and posting

I love the manga design too 🙂 the background is actually not that dark, I adjusted the colours using picassa and hence the brightness. It is actually a seaish blue green!

Loved it. Bright and colorful. Can see it as wall art. Ok. now tell us what were they intended to be?
Shankari said,

Thanks Laksh. It is wall art. Painted a couple of canvas’s some days ago and worked up the courage to put the pictures up only today 🙂 Glad that I got so many approvals, a good morale booster this blog 🙂

Thanks Art. My 1st choice is also the 1st one. The second one, I love the blue background more than the flowers.

This is good stuff. I totally love the first one and the second one would be perfect as funky wall art.

I think I’ll go with the 3rd option for the flowers and use my own option as “beautiful” for the mango design!:-)
Shankari said,

Thank you Thank you kanri. The second one was more an attempt at trying my hand at embossed design, but I definitely like the blue background in it. First one, yes, I also like it 🙂
