New underestimate the STPR and the LTPR!!

STPR = Short Tissue Paper Roll(Toilet paper)

LTPR = Long Tissue Paper Roll (Kitchen Tissues)

Shruti, Sands, Priya all of you correct! Full marks to you. They are indeed toilet paper roll flowers. They are so pretty right? I made the flowers, stuck a mirror on top for more decoration and Ta-dah! I have a beautiful wall decoration and mirror to check myself out 🙂

Leaving you all with one more snap..just so I can gloat some more

Steps involved –

  1. Don’t throw away the brown cylinders that you get after using up the tissue papers 🙂 Not even if your family gives you strange looks. Remember Perseverance pays!!!!! and in this case, you get a beautiful wall decoration! 🙂
  2. Once you have enough that it overflows from all the cabinets at home, take a couple and chop about 1/4 inch from the top and the bottom.
  3. On the remaining piece, plot markings at 1 inch.  Flatten the cylinder and cut on these markings to get the beautiful petals.
  4. Paint it any colour you want. I used acrylic black.
  5.  Now, take an old cereal box, cut out a round shape, slightly smaller than the mirror.  Stick the petals on the round, allow the glue to dry. Take any shape mirror and stick on top.. put the decoration on the wall and enjoy the art 🙂
